70. Matilda⁴ Maxwell (John³, Robert², John¹) was born in Ohio 1822. Her body was interred in Wayne Twp, Jefferson Co, OH, Bloomingdale cem.

She was married 8 Jul 1847 in Jefferson Co, Oh, to James Moore. He resided in Buffalo, Erie Co, NY 14 Nov 1860.

Matilda was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census in Wayne Twp, Jefferson Co, OH. .. In 1864, Matilda filed a protest of the distribution of her father's estate claiming that it had not been done in accordance with the will.

Matilda Maxwell and James Moore had the following children:
