She married John Lanning 20 March 1817: Sussex Co, NJ.⁽⁹²⁾ Married by Rev. William Hough.

John was born 4 January 1798: NJ. John was the son of Robert Lanning and Sarah Miller?. He died before Oct 1846 In Guernsey Co, OH [per Patricia Lanning email 10/17/08]. [other researchers have incorrectly indicated he died 17 Jun 1866: Guernsey Co, OH, at 68 years of age ⁽⁹³⁾ and was buried at Jones cemetery Guernsey Co, OH.] After his death, Sarah migrated to Harrison Twp, Wells Co, Indiana, where she is found in the 1850 census.

Sarah Fuller and John Lanning had the following children:

i. Julia ⁴ Lanning was born 18 Oct 1819:OH and died 30 Aug 1891:Wells Co, IN. She married (1) James Anderson and (2) Lewis Buckles [per Patricia Lanning email 10/17/08]

iii. Robert J.⁴ Lanning, born ca 1824. He moved to Missouri [per Patricia Lanning]

v. Hulda ⁴ Lanning was born 11 Oct 1827 and died 18 Apr 1877 in Ohio. She married Asberry Neel and had 12 children. [per Patricia Lanning 10/17/08]
